About K Giles

Keith M. Giles, founding principal of K Giles LLC, has been a pioneer in City of Chicago real estate since 1987, completing over 2,000 residential units in more than thirty residential communities representing nearly $1 billion of value. Projects include high rise multi-family, student housing, adaptive reuse, historic renovation, high rise and low rise condominiums, single family homes and townhomes.

During the 1990’s and early 2000’s Mr. Giles owned and operated Frankel & Giles, a development and realty firm, and Wolverine Construction an in-house general contractor. Frankel & Giles completed many developments which catalyzed the now vibrant and diverse South Loop neighborhood in downtown Chicago.

In 2000, Frankel & Giles was recognized by the Chicago Sun Times as Chicago's City Builder of the Year. Other awards include: Excellence in Historic Rehabilitation by the National Housing and Rehabilitation Association and the Chicago Landmark Award for Preservation Excellence for the Old Colony Building, and Chicago's Best Adaptive Re-Use for 888 South Michigan Avenue.

Keith was joined by his son Aaron Giles in 2017, who serves as a project manager with the company, and holds a brokerage license with Jameson Sotheby's. Together, they bring expertise, knowledge, energy and a hands-on approach to all phases of each development.
